Freema Ageyeman (was Frema Agyeman when she was born & born on 20 March 1979) is a British actress & part of Ghanaian and Iranian descent. She is best known as Martha Jones, companion of the 10th doctor in Doctor Who & also part of Torchwood. She has a role as a court prosecutor called Alesha Phillips in Law & Order: UK.
