After her career in Australian shorts & feature length films, she became known by starring in the HBO TV series, In Treatment. She became known worldwide after starring in Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland, starring as Alice & appear in the Kids Are Alright. In 2011, she'll star as Jane Eyre in Cary Fakunaga's movie called Jane Eyre. She'll also star in Gus Van Sant's Restless & Rodrigo Garcia's Albert Nobbs.
